Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data matters to us. Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of processing personal data on this website — in particular the tracking we use.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing is the entity named in the imprint. Contact: info@berlintina.de.

2. Legal Bases

Processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to perform pre-contractual or contractual measures (lit. b) and to protect legitimate interests (lit. f), e.g. a secure, functioning website.

3. Consent & Cookies

For services that are not technically necessary (in particular analytics and marketing tools) we use cookies and comparable technologies only with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (see below). Technically necessary cookies serve the operation of the site.

4. Hosting & Server Logs

The website is hosted by a service provider in Germany. On access, server log files are processed automatically (incl. IP address, date/time, requested file, browser). This serves technical provision and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.) to manage tags centrally. The Tag Manager itself sets no cookies and collects no personal data; it triggers the services below — only after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

6. Google Analytics 4

After your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) for reach and usage analysis. Cookies are set and pseudonymous usage data (incl. truncated IP address, device/browser data, interactions) are processed to improve the service. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7. Google Ads (Conversion & Remarketing)

After your consent we use Google Ads for conversion tracking and, where applicable, remarketing. A cookie may be set when you reach the site via an ad, in order to measure campaigns and deliver them more relevantly. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

8. Meta Pixel

Where activated and only after your consent, we use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure advertising effectiveness and for remarketing on Facebook/Instagram. Usage data is transmitted to Meta. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

9. Transfers to Third Countries

Google and Meta services may involve processing in the USA. Transfers are based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. There is a risk of access by US authorities.

10. Storage Period

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Analytics and marketing cookies have different lifetimes according to each provider's information.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (in Berlin: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information).

12. Browser Notifications

On the home page you can voluntarily trigger a notification demo in the cockpit area. Only when you click the button does your browser ask for permission; if you grant it, this website displays a single local test notification. No personal data is collected, stored or transmitted to us — the notification is created entirely within your browser. No push messages are sent (this website operates neither a service worker nor a push service). The permission applies to this domain only and can be withdrawn at any time in your browser's site settings.

13. Withdrawal of Consent

You can withdraw consent given at any time with effect for the future — e.g. via the cookie settings or by email to info@berlintina.de. The lawfulness of processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.
